Dozens of reality TV programs are broadcast on prime time on almost all of the networks. Even if you never saw Jon & Kate, chances are you’re familiar with the gossip about Jon and Kate Gosselin. Similarly, you don’t have to watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians to be familiar with Kris Kardashian and her three daughters, notably actress Kim Kardashian. Many people hunger to become reality TV stars, such as the parents of the Balloon Boy and the couple who crashed into an official event at the White House.
What is your favorite reality TV program? Why?

I am a faithful viewer of many of them. Survivor. American Idol. Amazing Race. Dancing with the Stars. I tend to stay away from the lower level stuff on cable. Reality is a broad category and different shows appeal for different reasons. I care who wins Idol or Survivor, but it is of little import to Amazing Race or Dancing with the Stars.
