If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you may have learned a lot about what gossip really is and why it tends to have more advantages than disadvantages. For many people, including editors and broadcasters, gossip still has a negative connotation, though almost everyone gossips and many of us gossip quite a bit. In general, what do you think:
When you gossip about people you know, is it generally favorable?

The more people gossip, the more I think they don’t have much else going on in their lives. Or they’re kind of nasty people. Maybe it’s like humor which Al Capp called “man’s inhumanity to man.”
