What an impressive, excellent and interesting bio! Congratulations on all your past & future success, Dick. It is a true honor to know you.
Richard, the reason I honor you as my mentor in my own books is because I’ve built a large part of my career on the foundation of what I learned from you. In a field so riven with mediocrity, your view of public relations and its practice borders on the philosophical — your practice on the meticulous, your teaching is merely awsome. In the owrds on an old song — you made me what I am today, I hope you’re satisfied. I am. I await your new book on gossip. It will, I know, bring new dimension to the subject. Thank you for everything — Bruce
Dick Weiner’s book on gossip is sure to be a great read and best seller. Why? Because he will be doing the PR for the book. I say this fully confident because I read most of his books over the many years I worked for Dick as his executive vice president. One of his great successes was the promotion of the Cabbage Patch kids. I won the Public Relations Society’s Silver Anvil award, but Dick topped me when he received the Gold Anvil from the PRSA
